Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
When we inform you about our products and services, we try to use as little personal data as possible. This means that we do not use any personal data when sending product information by post.
We generally only use the general company data that can be found on the contact page of your company on the Internet. If you are named on your website as a contact person for data protection or legal tech, then we will use your name to contact you directly. We think this is more polite and the mail would be forwarded to you internally anyway.
If we have already been in contact with you, we will write to you directly. We process your name and your professional contact details. This is also the case if you are listed as a contact person for data protection or legal tech on the Internet.
For this we use a customer management system (CRM). We use the Centralstation CRM (https://centralstationcrm.de), in which this data is also stored for us. You can access their privacy policy at https://centralstationcrm.de/datenschutz.
In this CRM we also process the communication between you and us (communication data).
We keep this contact and communication data for as long as we are in contact with you. If the communication is inactive for a longer period, we also delete it.
And of course we will delete your contact and communication data if you ask us to do so. Only in exceptional cases, such as in order to defend against or to enforce legal claims and in the event of suspected fraud, we may keep the data for these purposes after further consideration.
The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in the effective application of our offer. We have weighed your interests against this – and therefore decided not to process personal contact data, but only when you got in contact with us.
